More on Monday night’s Andrew Denton’s Enough Rope interview with Danish Royals, Fred and Mary. It was repeated last night at 10pm and drew another 393,700 viewers, taking the total to more than 1.9 million over the two nights.
Minute by minute ratings figures show that Enough Rope’s peak on Monday night was 1.764 million people at 10.01. That was higher than the Oscars peak of 1.5 million or so at 8.31pm and second only to Desperate Housewives which peaked at well over 2.4 million.
But one question still remains. Why didn’t Denton shave before fronting up to the Royal Palace? He looked like he’d travelled to Denmark via the Tran-Siberian railway rather than on an airplane with mirrors and those cute little shaving kits. Can’t the ABC afford a razor?
