It’s the first Yoursay of the new regime and while some readers have noticed the change, for others it’s business as usual. Here’s a sample of today’s offerings:
Well the day the music died was the day that Eric Beecher was on the front page of the Oz’s media section praising the Herald Sun, and billed as ‘Crikey owner’. ‘It sometimes goes too far but that is crucial to what they are doing’ said the Crikey owner. ‘Going too far’ includes publishing blatant lies according to the Press Council in its ruling about the Hun’s election coverage of the Greens. But, hey, blatant lying is just part of the mix isn’t it. Not the sort of thing a publication owned by Private Media would want to make a fuss about. The journey from rooster to feather duster is pretty quick these days.
