It seems Canberra University student, Zhang Hong Jie,
isn’t
the
only
one
to
have been overlooked by those who should have taken
notice.
The editor of The Canberra Times Jack Waterford writes:
What The Papers Say is very very
Sydney/Melbourne
centric.
Yesterday’s
bit
on
the Oz Higher Education supplement running on the unnoticed
death
of
a
Chinese
gel
might serve as a good example. Aspects of the
story
(including
all
of the
facts
in the Oz story) have been running in the CT for ten days!
CRIKEY: We admit Crikey has overlooked The Canberra Times in it’s daily round-up of what the papers, and
we
feel
suitably
chastised
for
an organisation with less than 10 editorial
staff.

their
coverage
of the Zhang Hong Jie story here.
