The Liberal Party lost the recent WA state election at three
levels:
management
at the individual electorate level, the conceptual and
strategic
level, and at
the parliamentary leadership level.
The 2005 Western Australian Liberal Party campaign should be documented
into
a
manual for all future elections. All campaigns, both those won and
those
lost,
produce some errors and mistakes – but the WA Liberal Party
managed
to
condense them all into one five-week campaign.
