Crikey writers Christian Kerr and Stephen Mayne have spread their
wings. Both now write weekly columns in Crikey’s sister publication,
The Reader.

This week in The Reader, Christian Kerr analyses the
Opposition leader’s plans to “do lunch” with the big end of town this
year, and asks whether it was such a good tactic for Labor to publicise
all this lunching. “The gags were inevitable,” he writes. “Kim Beazley
plus lunch equals… well, you can guess.”

And in his Reader column, Stephen Mayne casts his eye over the
performance of government privatisations in Australia over the past
decade, and highlights who’s made all the money. Plus, being Stephen,
there’s a list – 10 biggest government giveaways in history.
