Guns and God are always an interesting mix with politics. The pair turned up over the weekend in the NSW Liberal Party. “Lebanese Catholics recruited to the Liberal Party by the Christian right allegedly flashed pistols to intimidate opponents at a meeting to establish a new branch, according to a complaint lodged with NSW Liberal headquarters,” The Sydney Morning Heraldreported .
What everyone seems to have forgotten is that this isn’t the first time guns have appeared in the stacking wars. Firearms were flashed at the brawl at the Croatian Club in Punchbowl last year when the hard right Jihadists moved on the Bankstown Young Liberals.
What’s going on here? All the ALP factions do is bash each other. This must be doing wonders for John Brogden’s laura norder credentials.
