The accommodation arrangements are being finalised for NSW two star
jailbirds. Ray Williams heads for the low security correctional
facility at Cessnock in the Hunter Valley later this week where perhaps
a wine-making course might be awaiting him.

Williams appreciated fine wines while running HIH. One of the assets
the liquidators found were humidity controlled wine cabinets in the
executive area containing premium red wines, including Grange Hermitage.

Meanwhile his one time fellow director, Rodney Adler is at Long bay
still being sorted out. That has allowed him visits from his wife. But
he’s heading for the Kirconnell facility in the Central west of NSW,
around Bathurst and the huge state owned pine forests.

It can get cold up there with snow, sleet and fog common in the coming months.

Furniture making is a major occupation for the inmates at Kirconnell. Here’s a list of correctional facilities in NSW.

If Rod takes up this one, it will add to his skills set.

For some reason prison authorities have chosen not to locate Adler at
the John Moroney facility Windsor, near Sydney, but further away.
Williams will be close to the home he once owned on the NSW Central
Coast. Cessnock is only 90 minutes away at most.
