In the interests of equality, we went back to the ASIC Unclaimed Monies Online site yesterday, this time to check on the ALP’s financial management skills.
Key in the word Labor and more than 20 accounts come up – and the one with the most money in it is in the name of Labor Centenary House Pty Ltd. Clearly the building is such a cash cow they don’t need to worry about all the revenue it generates.
There’s also money going unclaimed in the name of Australian Labor Party, Hotham Branch. The Member for Hotham, of course, is Simon Crean. Sorta says it all, doesn’t it?
PS: The Democrats shouldn’t despair. They’ve got a grand going to waste up on the Sunshine Coast. It might pay for the wake on 30 June.
