Maverick British MP George Galloway last night gave a US Senate committee a huge spray over Iraq as you can see from this report in The Independent. The lad has just joined Michael Moore as a highly visible and effective anti-American propagandist.

Maybe they should have
adopted the interviewing technique of the BBC’s Jeremy Paxman after the
recent UK election saw George’s Respect Party defeat an incumbent
Labour MP who voted for the war. The interview began as follows:

JP: We’re joined now from his count in
Bethnal Green and Bow by George Galloway. Mr Galloway, are you proud of
having got rid of one of the very few black women in Parliament?

GG: What a preposterous question. I know it’s very late in the night,
but wouldn’t you be better starting by congratulating me for one of the
most sensational election results in modern history?
