The Nine Network had the top two shows on Sunday night, with 60 Minutes and National Nine News dominating the night with 1.873 and 1.795 million viewers respectively.
So Nine won both the week and Sunday evening. Seven finished second last week and tied with Ten for second on Sunday night. Nine’s Celebrity Circus garnered more viewers than either of the two Big Brothers. It’s a case of welcome to near-winter Sunday night viewing.
Nine won with a national share last night of 30.1%, Ten and Seven on 23.4% apiece, the ABC 14.3% and SBS 8.8%, due to the Eurovision song contest broadcast which attracted 484,000 nationally.
Last week Nine won with a 28.8% share to Seven with 26.0%, Ten with 24.4%, the ABC on 15.5% and SBS with 5.3%. Seven news beat Nine nationally and in Sydney last week and Seven’s Today Tonight had the same result over Nine’s A Current Affair.
