The groaning noise you can hear is the Nostalgia Network dipping further into the vault of past ideas and talent. Yesterday we reported on the resurrection of The Money program. Today it’s the resurrection of Brian Henderson, who will “top and tail” a three-part series on the Queen.
And tomorrow? Well, there are suggestions that another blast the past, Geoffrey Robertson, may be about to appear in a Hypothetical-type program that he made famous for the ABC, then Nine and Seven.
So what’s going on? It’s all part of Sam Chisholm’s counter-attack – not to fix the problem, but to convey the impression that Nine is still “The One.”
