The pressure should be firmly back on Australia’s
newspaper auditors after the US Audit Bureau of Circulations announced it would
no longer count paper and magazine subscriptions from two of the industry’s most widely
used companies because of dodgy practices.

Industry bible AdAge reports that EBSCO Consumer Magazine Services and
InFlight Newspapers and Magazines won’t be counted as paid subscribers
after EBSCO was caught with keeping phoney records, while InFlight
didn’t even pay for their subscriptions.
