Channel Seven prepares to face the State Supreme Court yet again in a protracted legal battle with sacked Seven chief helicopter pilot Tim Boase over allegations of workplace bullying and harassment.
The dispute threatens to put Seven’s national news chief Peter Meakin in the witness box, joined by a parade of Seven news personalities from WA.

He was later suspended on full pay.
Perth’s Supreme Court heard last year that Boase arrived at Seven to find the helicopter hanger padlocked and guards at the gate. He was ordered off the site. Since then, Seven has become enmeshed in a series of employment disputes and courtroom battles with Boase, who is represented by high-profile Mickelberg lawyer Martin Bennett.
