Yes, the gossip is pouring in, and the Easson boys are nervous. Richo and Walshie and Loosley and others have also been jockeying for patronage (Richo may claim he only speaks to Iemma “3 or 4 times a year” but that’s like The Eagle’s Joe Walsh saying he only had once drink – it just lasted for 20 years.) Meantime, no-one noticed the resignation of Refshauge, because everyone always thought Bruce Hawker was Deputy Premier anyway. A rumour gaining momentum is that Roger Wilkins, arch conservative Cabinet secretary and partner of PR Darling Sue Cato, is also on the ropes.
