The Age poll, conducted by AC Nielsen, will be conducted
from NZ from now on. AC Nielsen has retrenched its Melbourne polling staff.

I got this from a woman who sells medical supplies. She just sold
thousands of dust masks (the kind they use in hospitals) to the
government in preparation for a bird flu pandemic. One of the key names
mentioned was John Anderson, I believe he was at the meeting where the
deal was made. I don’t even know if this is a big deal, I know that as
a parent I was concerned about it. Apparently public panic is a
consideration – although they seem perfectly happy to have people
freaking out about the Muslim living next door.
