New boy in the office at
Holt Street
Seen this week, a newish but familiar face, wearing a nice suit:
Lachlan Murdoch, departed executive of News Corp, but continuing director. He’s
got an office at the News Ltd building in Holt St, Surry Hills in Sydney.
While
no longer an executive (he was executive chairman of News Ltd), Lachie is clearly keeping busy and keeping his hand in at
the family company. With
the best part of $60 million so far from his efforts at News, he clearly
believes he still has a lot to offer. He only
arrived late last week and was pictured Sunday greeting his wife and son on
their return from the US.
