As Fairfax prepares to bury its successful Shares and Personal Investor magazines next month, their main competitor obviously can’t believe its luck.

Crikey understands that ACP’s Money magazine has decided to add a new 30-page shares section to fill the gap created by the decision to close down Shares.

That probably won’t be the only move by publishers to capitalise on the
gigantic mistake of closing down two popular magazines about shares and
investment just when those subjects are top of mind.
