There’s a very lively auction taking place at the moment for the
memoirs of Peter Cosgrove. The great man is determined to write them
himself, unaided, but no one knows whether his style rises above that
of a military manual. He is far too politically savvy to say a word out
of place. And yet the bidding is said to have risen to over $300,000.
