Just how close are NT Chief Minister Claire Martin
and the CEO of her department, Paul Tyrrell? Rumours are swirling in
Darwin that Tyrrell, who’s a public servant, hasn’t managed to remain
entirely at arms-length of Martin’s political machine and managed to
raise a few eyebrows when he turned up at party strategy meetings with
ALP spinners Hawker Britton before last June’s NT election.
