Fairfax started advertising this week for a
replacement for departing Sunday Age editor Alan Oakley. No doubt at the top
of the queue will be his deputy, Sally Heath. But what of the application for
the top job by Jonathan Green, The Age‘s Saturday columnist – also known as Mr
Sally Heath? That would make for an interesting news conference, not to mention
fascinating pillow talk.
Re Circulation rorts. I was in McDonald’s at North Geelong yesterday and there was a pile of
New Ideas under a brown paper lunch bag which had “Please Take One”
scrawled on it.
