Another win by Nine helped by Seven’s below average programming last night. That was after Seven News was the most watched program with 1.202 million viewers, followed by Today Tonight with 1.189 million. And those wins were due to massive winning margins in Perth – Seven News was watched by 203,000 in Perth, Nine News by just 78,000. TT by 184,000, ACA by 71,000. Nine’s Getaway was the third most watched program with 1.089 million and the only other program to be watched by a million people or more. It’s Thursday night, Christmas is coming and TV is nothing more than a distraction. |

Besides the national and Perth wins Seven News and Today Tonight again had solid wins in Sydney. In Melbourne, Seven News narrowly won, while the news battle was drawn in Brisbane. Adelaide saw wins to both Seven shows, a very good result on the night. The ABC 7pm News was watched by 988,000 people and the 7.30 Report by 858,000. |
