is in the running for the ABC Head of TV job vacated by Sandra Levy
earlier this year. The ABC seems very eager to get someone with
considerable production and development expertise, rather than inside
knowledge of the ABC (which would mean that the ABC’s head of Factual,
Denise Eriksen, is out of the frame). Apparently
Hilton is seriously considering the ABC approach and has met with ABC
MD Russell Balding for several discussions. If it is going to happen,
it will happen very soon, before Christmas perhaps.
