The latest in a hurricane of changes at Network Ten has just seen its
Sydney chief-of-staff Paul Scott dumped from the newsroom’s top job.
Crikey’s deepthroat said Scott has been moved into a producer role, but
no replacement has been announced yet.
Ten sources say Scott had ruffled some feathers in the newsroom, and
Ten’s news director Jim Carroll seems to be pulling no punches in
knocking the network’s news offering into shape.
Already he’s announced a new early morning news bulletin in the new
year and is now in the process of
deciding who will replace Jessica Rowe as the female presenter on Ten’s
5pm bulletin.
