Alan Ramsey has been
offered a new deal by the SMH. He will no longer write the Wednesday column, but will maintain the main Saturday column and he also gets back the
little sidebar Sat column. So essentially he
gets more money to write less.

SA WorkCover Corporation – recent Board decision to appoint one
provider could lead to conflicts of interest. Word is that certain
board members could benefit from the decision as the new provider
doesn’t provide the range of services the old providers did, and that
many of the board members (or their entities) could end up tendering
for these additional services.
