Resmed, an Australian manufacturer
of
obstructive sleep apnoea equipment, is looking at Compumedics, a sleep
diagnostic equipment manufacturer. If this takes place, it seems that
there will be a major shake-up in the way in which sleep disorders are
diagnosed and treated. It may be a reasonable assumption that 10% of
the population of Australia suffers from sleep disorders.
