Victorian Health Minister due to political fatigue. Her touted
replacement? Transport Minister and yoga tragic Peter Batchelor.

A friend of mine decided to offer some feedback to Sydney’s part time Mayor and
part time Bligh MP Clover Moore after reading her Bligh News newsletter
distributed to her “subjects” in the city. On the front page was an email
address for comment (presumably): bligh@parliament.nsw.gov.au. He
used this address. Within seconds an
email arrived in his in tray: “bligh@parliament.nsw.gov.au
on Wed, 31 May 2006 00:03:23 +1000. You do not have permission to send to this
recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator … Relaying
denied.” Democracy is truly alive and well in Sydney city!
