Who
said these things? Why, the Seven network’s star new hiring, Mark
Llewellyn. It’s going to be quite interesting around the Seven
newsroom, the Sunrise studio and Today Tonight offices when Mark Llewellyn walks past them or bumps into the likes of Neil Mooney (EP of TT) or David Koch from Sunrise.

Meanwhile
further details behind Llewellyn’s defection to Seven emerged from Nine
overnight. It seems that after talking to Eddie McGuire about his
future, Llewellyn returned to his office to find it being packed up and
cleared on the orders of Ian Audsley, Nine’s Chief Operating Officer.
Llewellyn left his office and returned a phone call that Seven’s Peter
Meakin (and Llewellyn’s old boss at Nine) had made after news of his
demotion as Nine’s News and Current Affairs boss had broken.

Just
who gave Audsley the command to order the office-packing is a big
mystery at Nine. Eddie McGuire is said to be “furious” about it, but he
flew off to Germany anyway.
