yesterday but everybody tells me it went terrifically well and for a number of
reasons it proved beyond doubt what I’ve said from day one was absolutely
correct, that I have never received $1.3 million dollars, I said at day one. It
was proved to be correct yesterday. It was never a secret deal. That was proved
to be correct yesterday. And it was made clear that my opinion could not be
bought.
‘I find it quite extraordinary that you people are so amazed
that an individual like me should use a little entrepreneurial skill and go out
and make some money. … If I have been given an ability that I can market
successfully, then I have every intention of doing it … I’m an entertainer,
there isn’t a hook for ethics’.
