RIP AFR Access? Strong word that the Fin Review’s disaster-prone internet venture, AFR Access, is about to bite the dust and be replaced by AFR.com. There were ads for staff for AFR.com in today’s Fin without any mention of Access.

The ABC has called in the exterminators after a large rats was seen entering the office of News chief John Cameron on Wednesday evening. Underlings quickly locked the door and called the ABC’s exterminators who said they would be there first thing in the morning. Next morning there was a pile of sawdust and a large hole gnawed through the door. The rat, which has been nicknamed Wally in honour of Walter Hamilton who deserted ship last week, was last seen by early morning news staff heading for the tower block where the rest of the ABC executives live.
