He’s fast becoming a cult figure among the leading lights of global cable comedy. It seems that Comedy Central’s Daily Show and its affiliates can’t get enough of John Howard.

First he was given a simultaneous ”tip of the hat” and ”wag of the finger” by Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report , now the PM’s a bit player — a very funny bit – in a rave from the  Daily Show ‘s Jon Stewart.
