Is it just me, or has Julia Gillard been receiving speech therapy? During her appearance on the 7:30 Report last night, her speech lacked the usual working-class twang.
IRC Case Trent Smith v. DFAT. After four years suspension DFAT sacked a former labor staffer and diplomat. His action is being opposed by a QC et al. His offences are laughably minimal. DFAT is flying people in from o/seas to testify against him. Case continues for weeks! Indira Naidoo is moving on from Choice after less than a year in the Media Manager role. Indira, who was a great operator, is going to be head of corporate social responsibility at Planet Ark. My word is that Indira left because she was frustrated with the processes there.
