A fug of evil weed pervades the Crikey/Media Monitors Top 20 for the week of 10-16 July.
So who’s getting the most media mentions?
Reefer madness has made Peter Garrett higher – he’s up ten places to Number 10 this week – and seen Finance Minister Nick Minchin make a rare appearance in the Top 20.
The whiff of weed may explain the Prime Minister’s confusion over his candidate in Franklin, which has seen Vanessa Goodwin appear from nowhere at Number 17.

That nice Mr Rudd’s table talk about grocery prices went down very well on radio this week, although indigenous affairs and terrorism kept Mal Brough and Philip Ruddock high in the talk radio rankings.
