Each day of the campaign the Crikey Election Tracker will provide a location by location guide to John Howard and Kevin Rudd’s flying tour of the country.
To keep track of Rudd and Howard as they clock up the frequent flyer points, you can use the left hand margin, or click on the map.
Scroll down the left hand margin for an at-a-glance look at where Howard and Rudd have been and what they’ve said. Click on an entry to be taken to the corresponding location on the map. Don’t forget to keep your eye on the kilometres clocked by the candidates to check on who’s covered the most ground so far.
Or …
Click on Kevin Rudd or John Howard’s head for their latest stop on the campaign trail.
Click on the window that pops up for information about the electorate that the candidates are in, the location they’re stumping from, the pork promised and the policy launched. We’ll also include audio, footage and photos from the hustings — think hiccups, streakers, giant novelty cheques, awkward handshakes and gratuitous baby kissing. To satisfy your inner wonk, click on the links for even more detailed information contained on the Crikey Election site and any relevant commentary.
Click on the green exclamation marks for any other events of note on the campaign trail, and breaking information about other candidates.
And don’t forget to send us any footage, audio, photos or tips to boss@crikey.com.au or you can SMS 0427 TIP OFF with photos and tips so that we can include it on the map.
