- Newspoll in The Australian takes in the entire country. It has Labor well ahead in two-party preferred terms: 56 to 44%.
- Galaxy in The Courier-Mail looks at four Queensland Liberal marginals; Bonner, Herbert, Longman and Moreton. It gives a disappointing two-party preferred lead for Labor in Kevin Rudd’s home state of just 51 to 49%.
- The Taverner Poll from the Fairfax Sundays has Labor leading in NSW and Victoria on a two-party preferred basis 59 to 41%.
