So far this week we have seen three surveys of primary support for the Coalition and ALP. Nielsen has it at 48 to 41. Newspoll says 48 to 42. Roy Morgan’s estimate today is 49 to 39, giving a two-party preferred figure of 57.5 to 42.5.
Tomorrow’s Derby Day, they run the Cup on Tuesday. Rates will probably rise on Wednesday and then there will be just five days of test cricket and six days of TV political advertising left before polling.
If there is a rabbit lurking in the hat, PM (as opposed to a bear in your lap), you’d better find its ears pronto.
