A media release with plenty of prominent purple arrives from the Women’s Electoral Lobby offering their scores, so far, for the existing parliamentary parties.
“It’s not good for the major parties,” Eva Cox says.
“We’ve marked them out of 10 on ten different categories (see attached details) with a possible score of 100.
“The Coalition does miserably on 8% and our verdict is they must try very much harder. The ALP scored 45% which may explain why the polls show women favouring them over the Coalition, so could do better. We are waiting for the Coalition child care policy and hopefully some more really women friendly from both and will update the scores in the final week.”

No Tony, its not a joke – it will probably be a surprise to you, as it will be to a lot of men, that these issues do matter to a lot of us – thats women, in case you’re wondering. Perhaps you’ve ignored the research about how WorkChoices has affected wome
Is this a joke? Or has WEL lost its last brain cell to political venom that the can’t see the absurdity of their table. Better get Carmen Lawrence involved again – at least she pretends to be balanced.
