After months of jumping around, the Top Ten (for 12-18 March) seems to have settled down to what you would expect, with the PM first by miles, followed by the Opposition Leader, then filled out by senior cabinet ministers, the three big state premiers and the Shadow Treasurer.
The Can Do Party Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Campbell Newman (oh sorry…he’s a Liberal is he?) romped home to maintain his status as the most powerful local politician and most powerful Liberal in the country, largely focusing on transport issues in his campaign. (subtle note to State Oppositions – HE FOCUSED ON TRANSPORT)
Meanwhile, Peter Garrett stuck his head back in the bag and Julia Gillard squeezed every last mouse pad-ful of political joy out of the (supposed) death of WorkChoices.

Talkback Top Five was again predictable, and expect to see the minister for two of talkback’s favourite issues, welfare and indigenous affairs, in the list plenty of the time.

So what does Rudd’s dominance look like against another top story this week? Pig Iron Kev or saviour of the Tibetan people? Dalai Lama reckons our Kevin is tops. For now.
