NSW Premier Morris Iemma almost pips Brendan Nelson and Nicola Roxon’s up into fourth place, as health becomes the issue du jour, bad news as usual for Iemma, and for doctors.

Tony Abbott’s keeping himself active explaining why he’s bipartisan all the way… not that it’s going to work mind you (love that Jesuitical logic), while Stephen Smith manages to keep a fairly low profile despite Tibet being the big news story of the week.

And what’s that stamping and raging you hear coming from the North East corner of Parliament House? Ahh, it’s the Shadow Treasurer, who barely registered in the media this week as State shadow treasurers (name two and you win a prize, name them all and we’ll lock you up) mumble “welcome to irrelevance Malcolm”.

And our celebrity control sample of the week: Cricketers’ wives are the new footballers’ wives? From now on we’ll see Boony types running around with 6 foot blondes? Twenty20 really HAS changed the world.
