Very Clever Republicans. Palin painted Obama as not really American, not understanding American values in a speech that had not one iota of policy substance but pushed all the fear buttons and lots of youthful family. They are also pushing McCains service record to the max. I can see that John McCain is revered for being a prisoner of war for 6 years and coping with torture and not betraying his mates but wasn’t he captured after a bombing raid where he was bombing the North Vietnamese. The party of Family values has always not minded destroying non-American lives in the way of its foreign policy objectives. The Republicans and Palin have supported torture of prisoners in their “war on terror”, how dare they use the torture of one of their own to gain political mileage.
