Bullets everywhere as political fun and games go straight back to the Top of the Pops, just when we thought the big sleep was about to set in for at least a year. New NSW Premier Nathan Rees debuts at number two, the Member for Lakemba just behind him with Tybalt and Mercutio, er Watkins and Costa, not much further down the list (what do you mean, you can’t see Morris as Romeo to our breathless Juliet?).
Meanwhile in the Western soap opera Brendan has got his gun and he’s not letting any of those suitors near his daughter until they’ve bought a whole double D full of his prime dynamic lifter. The certainly soon to be former Premier Alan Carpenter was talking up his love of the bush as the likely soon to be Premier Colin Barnett tried to maintain the Nats would still be forced to leave a few cents in the coffers.

Suddenly talkback is awash with politics…all it took was for calamity across the country in State politics and the PM to be stuck on pensions for the week.

With the events of this week, who else could we have as celebrity control but the Wiggles? Highest paid Australian entertainers for the fourth year running. If a couple of them are thinking of retiring I know several soon-to-be former pollies who might want the gig and who certainly know how to make us laugh.
