Well there may be chaos on world financial markets but there’s complete stability at the top of the Media Monitors Top 20 this week, and you would expect there to be little change for at least the next few weeks to come as economics dominates, the only question will be whether Peter Costello will maintain his new found love of talking to the media for longer than his contractual obligations may possibly require.
The Premiers were the big movers thanks to COAG, with the release of the Garnaut Report moving Penny Wong in to the Top Ten, although Bob Brown won’t be too chuffed about his level of coverage in what was meant to be a big week for discussing climate change.
Anthony Albanese the biggest mover of all as the pollies debated whether the Infrastructure Fund is just an old fashioned slush bucket or long overdue action on crumbling links, while Brendan Nelson moved off the list completely, but stayed in all our hearts.

There’s more on the Media Monitors website.
Colin Barnett must be wondering what all the fuss was about a month ago.
Can I blame this lack of focus on the west from Crikey on Crikey itself or is this Media Monitors fault?
