White supremacy not dead in America. This news story, like the one of the failed hoax by Ashley Todd who claimed she was assaulted by a black man, will no doubt get filed away and dismissed for most Americans as the behavior of a “few nutcases.” But, I want to suggest that interpreting this sort of behavior through a mental health lens is another way of using the white racial frame to interpret events that obfuscates a larger pattern. — Racism Review
White supremacists favour white tuxedos. OK so what do we have here. Two hot young guys from rural Tennessee, who met on the Internet and who planned on being killed together in a blaze of glory, while wearing white tuxedos and top hats. White tuxedos and top hats are usually worn at uh… weddings. That’s right. Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman were queer for each other. — Jewlicious
The bloggers’ view. Across the blogsphere, there is general agreement that the two young neo-Nazi skinheads who allegedly planned to kill the Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, should not be taken too seriously. — News Blog, Guardian
Surprised it didn’t happen before. I’m not at all surprised about the ridiculously botched assassination plot against Barack Obama that was recently broken up. The only thing I’m surprised about is that there hasn’t been one before. As a black man who is likely to win the election and become the President of the United States in one week, Obama represents a profound threat to the mental midgets who hold to white supremacist philosophy. — Respectful Insolence
White supremacy by the numbers. Who knew that white supremacists had such a highly developed numerology? I’m assuming some elaborate reference to ancient texts? Or maybe Goering’s waste measurement? Maybe his waist measurement? Any guesses? Are they into reiki too? Phrenology? — Jonathan Green
Oh come on now Crikey. Get with the program.
There’s only one blog worth quoting on this nonsense and you’ve missed it.

The Right Wing: Dying Without Dignity:
The actual threat to Barack Obama from Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman, the pair of skinhead dickwads who were “plotting” to kill him and scores of black children, was somewhere between woolly mammoth bite and polio.
