It’s the scandal that’s stopped a nation –- kind of. Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull raised the allegation that Kevin Rudd’s mate, car dealer John Grant, had received special favours, with a supposed email from the PM’s office (published by News Limited papers) asking that he be considered when grant money was doled out. This smoking gun has not yet been found.

i note the usual lies from piers akerman of the telegraph. i also note the attempt on page one of newscrap’s Oz this morning to attack Mr Grech.
now that newscrap has been caught out, it is trying to deflect attention from its own involvement and its own lack of integrity, professionalism and ethics.
the fact of the matter is that this is a newscrap set-up from start to finish – lies heaped upon deception piled upon dishonesty.
i believe it is essential, in the interest of our democratic processes, that newscrap staff be required to answer questions from the AFP and the Auditor-General.
In particular, who gave them the email, when, and in what circumstances? It should make those answers available publicly at the same time.
my view, based on the congenital inability of newscrap to tell the truth, is that they hand a hand in concocting it.
You forgot to add the only two REAL option ie;
– This is not about and email, it is about speacial favours and the lies ‘misrepresentations’ to parliament.
– Regardless of email or no email Swanie and Rude have questions to answer.
