If I remember rightly, it was produced by Jacques Morali. The gay French record producer of the Village People. And if the vocals sound familiar that’s because it was rumored to be the Village People themselves singing.
I like the way they name-drop Olivia Newton John and the Little River Band. I would have been more impressed if they had mentioned Radio Birdman as well.
