Bloody excellent. I heard Wilson Tuckey on the radio last night. It’s clear that as far as he’s concerned, this wide brown land of ours simply didn’t exist before white people made it so.

And a big thanks too to First Dog for articulating what a lot of us are thinking, but haven’t the wit to put into nice little drawings. If some of you can stay back to stack up the chairs, that would be wonderful.
I’d be happy to stack chairs pussy, but I’ve got an urgent prior engagement.
(I’ve promised Wilson he can have the first go at test driving in my brand new Toyota Prius around Mt Panorama.)

EMC, did you notice that Venise didn’t bring a plate ? I’d help with the chairs, but you know…. the back ….. Paddy ?

I think it’s great that the Liberal Party is such a ‘broad church’ that it has a place for a straight-out racist pig.
Bob Carr summed it up so well (I suspect with help from Bob Ellis) when he described the Coalition as ‘ a conga line of nattering yuppies and rustic buffoons’. It probably has to be updated to include bitter old punishers.
Looks like the yoga class will have to move the chairs before they start.
