Uni students hack Bligh’s reputation. Overnight some highly defamatory and offensive amendments were made to the Wikipedia pages of Queensland Premier Anna Bligh and her predecessor Peter Beattie by an anonymous editor. Wikipedia records editors’ addresses, and the vandal’s IP address was recorded as 58.174.24.175 — an address at the University of Queensland. That might fit the profile, given the same editor also made an obscure but also defamatory amendment to the Wiki page for an Eminem song. Heaven forbid that it should be a student politician. — Bernard Keane
