The NSW government is a walking corpse, stumbling Zombie-like towards an election next March that will finally put it out of its misery.
Last Friday, it lost two more ministers. On Saturday morning, The Sydney Morning Herald‘s front page reported the news:
… while a few pages further on, in the same newspaper, the government itself was looking for assistance:
But “strong analytical and complex problem solving skills,” “high-level strategic thinking skills” or “experience in developing policy directions” won’t save this government from its fate.
No amount of spin can defend the indefensible.
I hink Keneally NSW – and I know most of them from Robertson in 1856. Worse than Lewis, worse than Unsworth, worse than Fahey, worse than Parkes. Under Rees and Iemma, NSW Labor had a shot. Under Kristine ‘I’m nobody’s girl – Joe gave me permission to say that’ Keneally, the state has reverted to the worst of the right wing lunacy that hampered Iemma and Rees. I almost hope hey bring in hte worst Education minister of any State to replace her – it would make the euthanisation complete.
Stupid computer: that first sentence should read ‘I think Keneally is the worst premier we’ve had in NSW – and I know … ‘
Apologies.
and I forgot Askin in my list of the ‘worst’
Well Duh! NSW should of been in Liberal hands since the last election, except for their own incompetence. Now, unless Barry O’whatsisname is photographed in bed smoking crack with a couple of school boys, the Libs are a laydown misere. Even the feral, right wing nutbag happy clapper set that infests NSW conservative politics are that desperate to gain power that will do whatever Crosby Textor tell them to do (no ‘going native’ like the gormless Laurence Springborg who blew the QLD election for the LNP). Give em six months in power though….
Is it true that the then NSW Governor sacked Jack Lang ?
Is there a correct way to petition the NSW Governor to just throw this government out so we can get into the real pain of fixing up this total f*ck-up of a State ?
Using only bare hands and a hlafwit Liberal front bench ?
Maybe we could outsource NSW governance to Tasmania.
