He’s put his name to a campaign launched in New York overnight, led by Michael Bloomberg, the republican mayor of New York (and even wealthier than Murdoch).
So does this mean we will see The Australian and Murdoch’s various metro tabloids adopt a different stance on boat people? Will The Bolter and Piers discover the sense of giving people coming here some sort of recognition, as their proprietor was given on September 4, 1985, when he became a US citizen to enable him to expand his small American empire into the giant it is today? — Glenn Dyer
