This is all just another day in the life of the News Corporation coup d’état.
Even more incredulous is Stephen Conroy’s announcement today that he is open to reviewing the charter of the ABC, in the hope this will somehow placate News Corporation’s concerns about ABC 24. That Conroy believes this will have any impact whatsoever on News Corporation’s Relentless campaign against the government beggars belief When the real issues that Murdoch is not ABC 24 but how be government funded National broadband network that will facilitate delivery of Internet TV in direct competition twith existing cable empire.
