A strong economy doesn’t automatically mean great schools. You actually need education to be well resourced and managed by people who know and believe in education to have a great schools and I would also add universities, adult education and VET.
How about some leadership which includes committment to access to education for all; and academic independence and rigor.
This so-called accountability is actually slow death by bureaucracy.
